Nude and blush colors were a big trend on the Spring runways, and one that looks great on most complexions if done right. Light complexions should look for more of a rosey, pinky shade, where as darker tones can go more taupe. You want to make sure it doesn't wash you out or it's not too close to your own natural color. Just look for something that's not going to be your exact flesh tone.

Nude colors look great in the spring/summer with a golden glow and natural looking makeup.  Chiffon for tops and dresses, wools for jackets, knit jerseys for shirts and easy dresses are great. Black is always an easy go-to to pair it with, and jewel tones are also pretty - it kind of parallels the idea of jewels on bare skin. But it can also be worn in the Fall/Winter with a cashmere blush sweater or wool pants with a silk blouse.  A wrap top looks great in these colors too, and you can pair it with jeans if you want a more casual look.  A blush silk bow blouse looks great with black leggings and knee length boots too if you only want a touch of this color instead of a whole outfit.  Dresses in these muted colors look great in the summer, and there are many evening dresses to choose from if you have a cocktail party or dressier special occasion.

The nude pump is something every woman should have in her closet!  A classic nude heel is going to make your legs longer and leaner, it goes with everything and it's seasonless.

Take a look at some of these outfits from the nude & blush color palette and get inspired...
