Four Skirt Trends for Fall...

This Fall get inspired by what was shown on the runways and diversify your skirt options.  Whether you prefer your separates subtle like Celine's flared midi or more statement-making like Moschino's box-pleated mini, here are four new skirt shapes that will work wonders on your fall wardrobe.

For Celine's Fall collection, Phoebe Philo showed us the new and improved midi - one with a subtle flair on the bottom.  Minimal in appearance, yet complex in cut, this new skirt flatters the figure without clinging to the body.

Celine's Subtle Flair

Style this gorgeous separate with a simple sweater and pointy heels for the ultimate feminine combination.  Love this look!

Lust: The Subtle Flair

Rendered in a neoprene fabric, this flared skirt gives an all-white separate a sportier spin.

Givenchy's take on this season's skirt was more pronounced.  Ruffled and tiered, this shape lends an urban gypsy quality with plenty of flavor.

Givenchy's Ruffles

Not a fan of the hipster stripe but still want in on this classic pattern?  Check out this ruffled skirt which lends stripes the most elegant of accents!

Lust: Ruffles

A shorter version makes a statement in electric blue.

With a hint of punk(which I love!), Moschino showed off a box-pleated mini that is perfectly suited for the rebellious schoolgirl!  Flirty and sexy, this silhouette goes up a sophisticated notch when paired with matte tights and ankle booties.

Moschino's Box Pleat Mini

Nail the preppy look in this mini-plaid wool skirt.  To avoid looking like an actual schoolgirl, style it with mature pieces like a soft cashmere sweater, tights and kitten heels.

Lanvin's take on this season's skirt is the sophisticated bias cut to add a minimal amount of bounce to your look.

 Lanvin's Elegant Bias

Cut on the bias and tailored to perfection, this quilted skirt is the epitome of ladylike elegance.
