Four Colors for Fall...

I love the fall colors, and I am especially excited about the four fall colors that are trending and being seen everywhere.  Don't be afraid to try these colors, whether dressing your entire outfit or accenting it with a pop of color.  Be bold ladies, and try some of these colors this season...

Burgundy, Bordeaux, Wine, Eggplant, Oxblood....whatever you want to call it, this is the IT color of the season and one of my personal favorites. Wine is one of the most flattering shades of red.  The purple undertones make it very wearable, which means you don't need to feel shy about going bigger with this hue - say, a burgundy fall coat.  For makeup, I suggest starting with a nail or lip, avoiding those browner tones which will make you look very 80s!  This color palette works well with black, espresso, inky blue, or heather gray.

Gold....for day, opt for wools or knits that weave in gold against a neutral (like black or cream). To pull off
a more showstopping look for evening, keep your hair and makeup simple and pretty, jewelry minimal, and shoes strappy - or you'll look like you're in a costume!  Try wearing gold with black, cream, wine or emerald.

Emerald....this deep jewel tone can make for one dazzling cocktail dress!  But more typically, emerald is suitable as a single focal point - like a pair of verdant leather pants or sparkly pumps - in an outfit of neutrals.   If you think you can pull it off, go for it with a deep emerald dress for a night on the town! For makeup, the thinking is similar.  Deep green works for nails or as a 'graphic' eyeliner kept close to the lash line.  Try wearing with black, navy, a flash of gold, or cobalt!

Winter Whites...when it comes to white, there are no more rules about when you can wear it.  It's become a seasonless color. In colder months, the shade looks particularly stylish worn head to toe in a mix of fabrics and textures.  Try with gray, camel, or accents of graphic black.
