Street Style picks for Fashion Week!

My love of Fashion Week street style knows pretty much no bounds!  It's often through street-style roundups that must-have items emerge.  With just weeks away before New York Fashion Week, I thought it'd be fun to guess which items will emerge as the must-haves!  I focused on the usual suspects: kooky (but really awesome) stuff from Christopher Kane and tops from Givenchy (last year's big style champion), as well as a fun dress by Stella McCartney and floral jacket by Phillip Lim.

My list also reads like an ultimate, no-expense-spared wishlist for the upcoming season - because a girl can dream!  Take a look at my picks and see what you think....

The new Givenchy sweatshirt - everything Givenchy was the rage last season, so why not bet on this cool, short-sleeved, leather-trimmed sweatshirt as this year's all-the-rage item?

On the other hand, this Givenchy bomber is also really cool in a low-key way.  I can see some of the most subtle street style stars sporting this!




Statement Saint Laurent.  Naturally I would expect plenty of Saint Laurent pieces from Hedi Slimane's first collection for the newly named label.  I reckon that this pretty peek-a-boo dress will have some fans.




Christopher Kane's crazy pants.  Christopher Kane is a street style favorite, season in and season out.  I'm thinking the bravest of the show-going crop would be happy to sport these statement abstract pants.




Prabal's peplum.  I figured this gorgeous top would be a hit the second I saw it!  Though peplum may have already had its peak time in the sun, I can certainly see this blouse in some future street style snaps.




Pretty dress by Stella McCartney.  This awesome Stella dress has the elusive quality that street style models are looking for: it's both pretty and quirky.




Phillip Lim's hard floral.  This 3.1 Phillip Lim jacket has so much going on - and I know that show-goers don't exactly shy away from all the fun frills!  I imagine at least one attendee of a a European show sporting this amazing piece!
