I have always been a fan of the color gray....and this fall if you don't feel like sporting the bright hues that are currently on trend, you can always go to this color staple that is timeless and comes in many shades (fifty!?)...sorry, I couldn't resist that one!
Contrary to popular belief, the color gray is not drab or depressing. You can wear anything from the palest and softest gray hue, to charcoal, or a silvery metallic gray, and I can promise you it will look anything but drab! Unlike the overly amplified looks of past seasons that often take too much attention away from the girl in the clothes, gray forever stays understated and classic.
Gray also goes well with other colors if you want to mix it up. Try it with teal, deep burgundy, pink, pale yellow or black, or try wearing different shades of gray (the tone on tone look) in your outfit. For a classic Fall look, try wearing gray with a bright red! Add a statement piece of jewelry and a great pair of boots or heels and you'll look fab not drab!
