Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. As such, it's a day of celebration for all my American comrades, when they can celebrate being free of the Brits! For those of you who don't know, today is a federal holiday here in the States, and a time for all to celebrate with family, food, fun, and usually, fireworks!
On this hot summer's day, people will be enjoying time with their families having picnics and reunions, eating hot-dogs and hamburgers, waving their American flags patriotically, and enjoying firework displays. This is a day for people to come together and celebrate.
In honor of my American friends, today I am going to showcase how to wear patriotic fashions to show your love of your country. So why not wear something red, white & blue today and show that you're proud to be an American!
