The Slim Tunic

Most of you know that I love a tunic.  You can wear them year-round, they are comfy and very forgiving (two major factors for me!).  Well now there's a slightly new take on this fashion staple with the slim tunic. It's still comfy and it's still flattering, but this new retro cut makes a play for modern-day sophistication and I am a fan!

How to wear it?  Long and lean is the name of the game!  Designers favored pairing these with narrow, floor-sweeping flares on the runways to give the illusion of extra height.  This style draws attention to the neck, so take advantage and bust out a showstopping choker or geometric pendant.

Liven up clean lines by marrying the top with a straight skirt that boasts a subtle slit on the side or, more unexpectedly, in the back.  Now that's a tasteful way to show some leg!!
