It's a print pattern that dates back to ancient times, appearing on fabrics found all around the world. The Beatles popularized it as psychedelic on their 1968 pilgrimage to India, where it was everywhere, but in fact paisley takes its name from a town in Scotland. Whatever its origin, donning curlicued teardrops makes a woman stand out wherever she's from or heading to, and that's why today I want to showcase the paisley print as a great trend for this season.
I love this print, and it can be done every season, not just in spring or summer. It can be done in light prints or dark prints for fall and winter and as little or as much as we want. It really doesn't matter how we do paisley, because it will always look fabulous! Personally, I love the way Cameron Diaz wore it in her Rag & Bone dress. She looked great in the short, chic black & white dress with ankle boots. But take a look at how other celebs and fashionistas are wearing this fabulous trend and become inspired to try it too!
