Tribal Prints are a hit this season!

Tribal prints are a major trend this season. They were all over the runways, and again, this is a trend that I love, particularly as I have a weakness for animal prints (though tribal includes much more than that!).  Tribal prints can create interesting, colorful outfits that will definitely be out of the ordinary, and if worn right can attract a lot of positive comments!  In other words, if you're not afraid to try something new and a little different, this trend is an option you should try!

I would say that vibrant and energetic colors are the leading words that describe this fascinating fashion trend.  While designers everywhere have different visions when it comes to ethnic tribal prints, one thing's for sure - you can create amazing outfits as long as you follow a set of a few simple rules.  Here's what you need to know to make sure that you look fabulous regardless of whether you choose to fully embrace this trend or you prefer to stay on the safe side and only use certain elements to take your style to the next level!

If you opt for a dress that has strong, bold vividly colored print it's important to pay attention to the rest of your outfit. The texture of the material, the dominant colors of the prints, the fabric and occasion you are dressing for are all aspects that you need to consider to make this look work.

A safe bet is to choose a neutral color that is also found in the print of the dress and pick the rest of your accessories in that color.  Choosing a vivid color for your shoes and accessories is another option, however it can prove to be too strong if you're not careful.  That's why I recommend sticking to a neutral color (think a nude pump), and make sure the fabric of your dress is not too contrasting to get this look right.

Things do get a little easier if you choose to wear prints as a part of your outfit.  If your top is a tribal print then make sure your bottom half of the outfit has a neutral light color and a similar color with the prints for your shoes.  Make-up should be simple and natural to avoid striking contrasts.

When it comes to tribal jewellry there are unlimited options! Long dangly earrings, bejewelled gem bracelets or wooden bangles (my favorite!), or bold necklaces can successfully compliment your outfit as long as you don't wear too much at once.  Again, for those of you who just want to experiment with this look, just add accessories like a belt or purse.  Accessories are easy to find in this trend, and the options are endless!  So take a look below at how to get this look right and give it a try....
