Today is the first day we've actually had a hint of Spring in the air here in Pittsburgh. I had lunch outside al fresco with a friend basking in the lovely sunshine, and then actually was able to drive with the roof down on my car for the first time this year! Such treats get us excited for Spring, and even though this lovely warm spell (from what I hear) is not here to stay just yet, what better time to start thinking about your Spring wardrobe? So with that said, here's a heads up on what prints are in for Spring! Get a head start by trying out some of these great looks now.
Stripes, florals, geometrics, spots and swirls...the Spring 2014 runways featured the return of every print under the sun. Prints were everywhere - every size and shape imaginable, the catwalks were a sensory overload! If you embrace brilliant bursts of color, ornate geo shapes and retro blooms, these attention-grabbing prints are the ones you should play with come Spring!
One of my personal favorites is mixing prints, like the red polka dot shirt with striped skirt seen in one of the pics below. I love the fashion-forward look of this and plan on doing this look in the very near future. Now pick out your look for Spring!
