Okay ladies, you know we love our shoes right? So today we're going to look at some fun, sparkly shoes to wear to your holiday party and add some pizzaz to your outfit. Perfect if you're more conservative and wear a simple black dress to your party, a sparkly shoe will add some va va voom!!! You can go with a more traditional pump with some sparkles, or something a bit more daring like sandals in metallics and shimmer!! Take a look at these and get shopping ladies.....

Today's post is to all the lovely curvy, full-figured ladies out there who dread going to holiday parties because they don't feel comfortable wearing party dresses or because the only thing they can find to buy in their size is frumpy!! Big is IN girls, and you should never be afraid to show off those lovely curves! Don't hide behind big, baggy, voluminous clothes - take pride in your shape and give those skinny chicks a run for their money!!! There is no reason why you can't be sexy and the envy of the party just because you're not a size 2!! Take a look at some of these plus size party dresses and leave the frump behind!!!

Okay ladies, here's a great tip for those of you who like to change up your hairstyle but don't want to risk cutting it in case you don't like it, or are too impatient to wait for your hair to grow out! Want to have a fun hairdo for the night, all you have to do is get some clip in hair extensions....that's right, it's as simple as that!!! You can buy a whole array of different looks - bangs, braids, ponytails, as well as get curls or go straight! It's easy, affordable & immediate!! I have a few different looks and I use them all the time - I love them!! So go on, give it a try. Below is the link so you can check out some different looks! The other thing that's fun and on trend right now is accessories for hair!!! Add some clip in feathers or crystals if you are going to a glitzy party and want to stand out! Check out the pics below of some examples of how the extensions and accessories can look! Let me know what you think ladies, I'd love to know!

Today's tip.....struggling about what to wear for the holiday party? Why not be really festive and wear a little red dress instead of a little black dress? Red is fun and festive and with a color like this you won't have to worry about adding much with accessories as the color itself should be enough. Just add a great pair of pumps and a fun purse and you'll be good to go. Take a look below at some examples of how you can be the lady in red....

Today's style tip is about workplace dressing....something I feel strongly about is just because people work in an office all day or are travelling on the road a lot to meetings, doesn't mean that your wardrobe has to be boring or frumpy!! It is SO easy to add a little pizzaz to an outfit, or just wear something simple and chic to make a strong impression. Obviously a lot depends on what type of work environment you work in, but for the most part I see no excuse to look sloppy!! Here are five looks that are easy to put together and look professional, modern and chic!!
First is a simple color block dress (yesterday's trend!). This is a fun look if you work in a creative environment! Second is a simple black wool dress with a classic wide leather waistband, perfect for the more conservative office! Next is the on-trend silk bow-blouse paired with black pencil skirt; then we have the long sleeve print dress, great for any office; and finally you can't go wrong with this classic knit wrap dress. This look is flattering on any shape!

One of my favorite trends this year has been the comeback of jumpsuits! I loved this trend the first time around back in the 80's, but am loving it this time too. I have at least three jumpsuits and love wearing them throughout the year. They are easy to wear and accessorize, and you can wear them casually for the day, or dress them up for a night out on the town. With a big bold belt and some fabulous statement earrings it is a look both flattering and sophisticated. These are investment classics which will never go out of style. I love how the long, graceful silhouette elongates your shape. You can wear them through all seasons - with sandals in the summer, and transition to platform pumps in the winter. Strapless, sleeveless or sleeved - you'll be sure to make an entrance wherever you go! See below for different ways to wear the jumpsuit...

For work, this is a great look...

You won't make a faux pas when you wear faux fur this season ladies!! Whether it be a faux-fur vest or a scarf, hat or wrap, you can't go wrong with this look!!! Make it fun by wearing a colored fur wrap in red for the festive season! Or if you're really not a fan of fur but you want to stay on trend why not just get a nice pair of booties with a fur trim? It's subtle but still on trend with this seasons looks, so you'll still look like a fashionista!!
But one thing you should remember with every trend - don't overdo it!! You don't want to look like you're trying too hard......
If you have any style tips or questions, go ahead and post your comments, I'd love to hear from you!

The colors this season......white or cream!! That's right, these are the colors of the season!! You can look chic and festive wearing a little white dress instead of a little black dress. Add a metallic accessory to make it look extra snazzy or add a pop of color with your purse or shoes!
Now remember, white & cream can be very unforgiving, so don't forget the Spanx girls!! Trust me, they hide a multitude of sins!!
Here are a variation of white/cream dresses that you can wear this season...

Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize........this is key for any outfit!!! Rediscover your inner sparkle by adding a chunky sparkly necklace to that staple little black dress, or vamp it up with a statement pair of chandelier earrings!! It's amazing how you can change an outfit with the right accessories! Whether it be a casual outfit that you add a colorful scarf to, or an evening outfit that you add an animal print belt to, you can totally redefine your look by just adding something simple. And ladies, don't forget the shoes!! As a shoe hoarder myself, I can attest to the fact that the right shoe can really vamp up an outfit.
Now, make a statement and get accessorizing!!!

style tip of the day....
Remember that when you're choosing your outfit for the holiday party it's okay to show some skin, BUT don't show too much!! The usual rule of thumb is that if you're going to show some cleavage don't wear a short hemline! If you're going to show off those lovely legs, then don't show too much cleavage! It's either one or the other but not both!
Also, be age appropriate! If you're in your twenties something young and flirty is fun, but in your forties it can look tacky! A mature woman should add a little sparkle to her outfit to make her look chic & classy!
I would love to hear from you if you have any comments or style tips that you want to share! Or if you have any fashion/style questions I would be happy to help!
