There's something that seems to happen when the weather changes and the sun comes out....some people go a little nuts and start wearing the most ridiculous things! Now I realize that when the sun shines we all feel a little happier and perhaps it makes us feel a little bolder with our fashion choices, but ladies there is absolutely NO excuse for some of the fashion DON'TS I have seen out there!!
When you wear shorts, there is no reason I can think of for having your bum cheeks visible for the world to see! No-one particularly wants to see your thong when you sit down or bend over, and the saying 'my cup runneth over' should remain just that, a saying, so please wear the right bra size!! The idea of a 40-something with a bare midriff is not appealing or appropriate, so put your midriff away please!! There is no reason EVER to wear hose with capri pants, and it doesn't look cute to wear UGG boots with shorts!! And finally, as you know I'm all about embracing your curves, but you don't need to put everything out there in summer and dress like your schlepping around the house. When you're legs are pasty white and big, but you really want to wear shorts, slap on some self-tanner and wear a longer length short that won't emphasize the jiggly bits!!! You want to draw attention to your good points, not draw attention for the wrong reasons!!
So please ladies, take a look at these pics and take notice of what NOT to wear this summer....
