Petal Pink...this month's color!

This season, designers are proving this ultra-feminine shade can work year-round - petal pink!  So, if you're not a fan of the more traditional fall colors like grays, browns, blacks and blues, try this super-feminine color to lift your spirits and bring out that girly side of you!

I have always been a fan of pinks, and I particularly love this pale, muted shade for fall.  I like to pair it with burgundy (another color that's a big hit this season!), but it also plays well with other shades including coral, dove gray and buff.

Why I love it - once reserved for spring, this flattering tint lends an airiness to fall's heavy, structured fabrics.  And it's a sweet, pretty touch when the weather turns chilly.

How to wear it - revel in its versatility.  You can dial down the hue's inherent girlishness by choosing streamlined pieces, like a tailored coat, or amplify it with flirty dresses and skirts.

When a woman has both the contours and the confidence to show it all off, she should slink into a well-cut, and sometimes strategically slashed, second-skin tank gown.  Now obviously this isn't something everyone should attempt (I certainly know I wouldn't!); but, if you've got the body for it and the confidence to go out there and strut your stuff, go for it!
